"Rich, thanks for this.
I have had the Vespa GL since 1968 and used it as daily transport for ten years.
Since then it has been under cover in various gardens. The weather took its toll, and by this year was little more than a 'barn find'. The decision was either to get rid of it or find somebody to bring it back to life. Found Rich Tyler on the internet. He asked for pictures and gave me a quote and estimated 6 to 8 weeks to complete the work. The. Vespa was picked up by courier. Rich kept me informed of progress with lots of photos. Nothing was too much trouble. Rich sourced many
original parts, some from Italy. Rich restored the Vespa to original condition.
It was returned by the same very efficient courier. It looks absolutely spectacular, with upgraded electrics and glossy paintwork. Rich sent two-stroke oil and ethanol additive with the Vespa and hand-written information about what the restoration team had done. This was a ground-up restoration, a mammoth task involving a number of complicated tasks and completed in 11 weeks to a very high
standard."
